Vibrating
Screeners (General Description):-
The Cleveland
Vibratory Company vibratory screeners are available in a variety
of styles and sizes. Three of the large styles are normally
mounted horizontally and have the same principle of operation
as our vibratory feeders. The vibratory screeners are air-powered
(reciprocating air-cushioned piston) or have electromechanical
drives for medium to heavy-duty applications. Another style
is a gravity flow design which is down sloped twenty degrees
for gravity-assisted product conveyance, utilizing a single
rotary electric vibratory driver.
Electromagnetic
screeners handle bulk material from micron size to bulky chunks.
The electromagnetic screeners are controlled by AC-type controls
that operate with precision. In addition, you will receive
all the features that, for over 80 years, have made The Cleveland
Vibratory Company the leader in quality and dependability
in your vibratory needs.
To screen large volumes of fine powders, CVC introduced the
HyBrute screener, a combination of brute force screening with
ultrasonic technology.
For small quantities, or sieving of fine powders, we have
laboratory screeners which can also be equipped with ultrasonic
to aid in screen deblinding.
The motion of our vibratory screeners promote the stratification
process, which moves the finer materials downward, through
the bed of material to the screen surfaces, while moving the
coarser material upward, away from the screen surfaces. This
action provides precise vibratory screening where high efficiency
is required of the end product.
APPLICATIONS
The Cleveland
Vibrator Company vibratory screeners are used to separate
materials by particle size, scalp (remove) small amounts of
oversize material, remove small amounts of fine material,
or remove excess liquid from finished products. We can supply
single-, double- or triple- deck units. Our wide range of
drivers enables us to provide vibratory screening for the
finer materials down to one hundred mesh (.0058") and
coarser materials up to four inch clear openings. Some industries
where vibratory screeners are commonly used include:
- Chemical
- Food
- Foundry
- Mining
- Ceramics,
Clay and Glass
- Metal
Working
- Iron
and Steel
- Pulp
and Paper
Controls
The Cleveland
Vibrator Company offers a wide range of controls for the operation
of both Air and Electric Powered Vibratory Screeners.
Standard
controls are Air-Powdered Screeners consist of a quick active
valve, air line filter, pressure regulator gauge, lubricator,
and a five-foot-long air hose with pipe fittings.
Standard
controls for Electromagnetic Powered Screeners consist of
a transformer-type device which adjusts the intensity of vibration
by varying the applied voltage.
Also available are Special Controls for Remote Operation,
maximum to minimum material flow controls for batch weighing,
and panel board controls for multiple installations.
